Postpartum Programs
Having been a pregnant athlete twice, I realized that we need more education and resources for women who stay active throughout their pregnancy. This inspired me to complete my certification in pre-Postnatal Coaching. When developing any program for postpartum nutrition and fitness, there are many unique considerations. These include what stage of pregnancy or postpartum the women is in, type of delivery, if she is experiencing pelvic pain or dysfunction, lower back pain, diastasis rectus abdominis, whether she is breastfeeding, and fatigue levels.
My experience with two active pregnancies, coaching pregnant athletes through Crossfit and marathons (my client safely ran a marathon while pregnant), and my degree in nursing has given me the insight and expertise to develop safe and effective pre/postpartum nutrition and fitness programs.
Your pre-baby body hasn't gone anywhere so stop trying to ”get it back”. Your body is now strong, beautiful, and has given life to another human being. Love it at every stage.
